Ummmmmmmm.............

I am not going to completely blame the refs on this one. Although they did call a few bogus penalties. But the Ducks had no life tonight. They were always going for the big hit instead of protecting the crease on the penalty kill. So Boys here is something to get you pumped to beat up the Sars on Saturday.

- I meant to write Sars. It is kinda like the queens.

We'll I would blame Pronger for the not getting the calls. Also Turco turned on the playoff magic, I expect the ducks to come back in the next game. Im going to amend my prediction on this one, Ducks in 6 (I think Dallas takes one at home). They fly out of long beach so you could go taunt them before they go home on Sunday. This should be interesting as far as a series goes. Look at the penalties Roughing and Pronger knocks the glass off in the third. Dallas will be beat down by the end of this thing. The Ducks are possibly the worst playoff draw period. From what I read they need there fans to help and not leave with 10 min to go. Key to game 2 score a soft goal early and have the crowd get on Turco, he doesn't play well if he gets a soft goal by him.

Do you agree that the suprise of the playoffs so far Calgary didn't get swept? Scoring will be the Key to San Jose making the run in the long haul. I now have my doubts about that team making it. I need to see some scoring production.

I don't think Calgary was a surprise to not get swept because they are a big physical team like Anaheim. I do agree that Pronger might be helping the officials to not call the penalties on the Stars. They were down 4-0 when people started leaving. Probably beacause that place is worse than Dodger Stadium to get out of. I went to two of the WCF games last year. One were they lost I think 5-0 and the fans stayed all the way to the end. It took us nearly an hour and a half to get out. I was at the game were Pronger and Robbie Nieds hit the guy for which he was suspended. Oh and the glass came out a couple times last night. What's the deal Ponda workers. Last nights game reminded me of last year. Take a lot of stupid penalties in an early game, then settle down and dominate. And Turco had three shutouts last year in the playoffs and they still lost the series.

First off one of the credited "shut outs" was an 89 min. loss to Vancouver in the battle of teams that couldn't score. I really thought the ducks would come out and win this one tonight. . . I dont understand them collapsing late in the game, I was at the November 10th game against the kings Turco falls apart if he lets in a soft goal. This is bad for the Ducks, Id say they are in a must win situation in Dallas on Monday. I don't see a 3 game turn around happening for them.
I still think the Pronger incident wasn't that unintentional, but he hasn't done crap like that before and he came out, did the PR right and was only suspended 8 games.

Yeah Modano's goal was a good play and I thought that Ducks would be able to pick that goal back up. But then they gave up two soft goals. and completely melted down. I guess they miss Penner and McDonald, and Perry right now.
