If Only We Could Turn Back The Clock..............

"You certainly can't blame Jonas Hiller, who was thrust into net before the game when J.S. Giguere came down with back spasms. By the way, how scary was it when Hiller went to the bench in the third with a cut on his forehead and Giguere clearly not available to go in there? Randy Carlyle said after the game, that if Hiller couldn't go back in, "There was some mention of George Parros" donning the equipment. Now, that would have been a sight."
-Ducks Blog

Oh how much I wish that would have been the case. Only if Hiller ended up being ok. Cause Parros in net would be the funniest sight ever. Now if ever there was a guarantee of a goalie fight. I can't find a video of the shot off of Hiller. Here is a sampling of Parros' work.

Where is the video of Pronger stomping on Kesler's leg with his skate. Go Dallas make the Ducks one and done.

Dude you know the Ducks are going to destroy any team they play like last year especially when they get their players healthy.

SAN JOSE, they have the size speed and endurance... They are my pick to run the gambit. I think the ducks are going to have a hard time getting passed a dallas team that is starting to gain some momentum. If Turco puts on a show they could cause a problem. However sadly I do think the Ducks will do it in 5 mainly on Turco's difficulties in clutch situations. The Ducks peaked too soon they will need to regain some of that Selanne momentum from earlier in the season a 5-4-2 record against soft teams wont do it. If the Blackhawks can make the dance they should beat the red wings in 7. (they will be one of a few teams to finish with a winning record against them this season.) Any other teams vying for that eighth spot will loose unless Luongo can play another set of day long games. Problem for the West endurance, Problem for the East pretty much any team above a 5 seed in the West. Pitsburg or Montreal should show up in the finals.
Also 8 game suspensions are not handed out for getting a leg free. That was intentional.

Simon's was intentional and it got him 30 games. The league itself said it wasn't intentional. As for dallas gaining momentum. HUH? they destroyed LA recently but other than that have been playing horribly. San Jose may have speed but when you go up against big physical teams they don't have a chance. Look at last year everybody thought Detroit was gonna have their way with Anaheim. It just shows that physical teams wear on the speed teams in a 7 game series. I don't think the Ducks have peaked yet because if you look Getzlaf is just coming back from and injury, Perry is gonna be out a couple more weeks, Ryan Carter has a broken hand he should be back Saturday, Jiggy has had back spasms recently not 100%, Pronger has missed the last 7 games. I think that once they get healthy look out.I don't think any team from the East could even come close to Beating a team from the west. I would love to see Pittsburgh in the finals against the Ducks I think that would be the best series. And I don't think anyone who watches the game can call the ducks dirty. Outside of the Elbow in the finals last year. They don't even really play Parros in the playoffs. Which you have to admit Parros in net would be awesome. which is what the post was about.

Yes I am I got married in September by the Goldsworthy. We have been going to Rockharbor and I work out in Costa Mesa.
I in general have a hard tie with OC fans, Ill have a lot more respect if they hang around through the next dry spell.
As for Parros in net his mustache would scare the oposing team so much he'd probably have a shut out. I wouldnt want to shoot on that.

Parros: I dare you to score on me..
Shooter: Oh crud..

6'5 232 lb goalie. His head would be at the crossbar when he is on his knees. Georgies not a butterfly goalie....he just punches players with the blocker when they get to close

How do you like Rock Harbor? I have heard good things. Hopefully we won't have another dry spell. But I am from the LA side of the orange curtain.
