The Pennsylvania Primary was yesterday. Most of the hype was about the Obama/Hillary race. What you didn't hear was the numbers for the Republican Party. Ron Paul walked away with 128,000 votes. That is a huge number. Especially since the media has told everybody that Ron Paul dropped out. Which isn't true.

I actually get really concerned about the future, about areas where it becomes easier and easier and more comfortable. The worst thing is when Christians get comfortable, when there is no suffering. That is when the Jesus movement isn't at its best. We do best underneath the empire, we do best on the margins, we do best when your boot is on our neck. Cause then we're totally dependent on the grace of God. It's suffering where our God shines. When every thing's fine we don't really need God. Actually, what terrifies me is if the Christian movement ever became in meshed with power structures. Like I'll tell you what would be terrifying, is a Christian nation. A Christian nation that would use the sword in the name of Jesus. That would be anti-christ in it's origin, because what Jesus said was to put away your sword. What terrifies me is that you could have a Christian nation that forced and compelled people, this movement doesn't work because if we were to force and compel people then we would be just like you (Roman Empire). The only way our movement works is with desire, it only works with love, it only works cause you glimpse something you want more than anything. If it ever became compulsory, if it ever became like be a Christian or else. If being a Christian ever became synonymous with being part of the empire or the nation, that would be the worst thing ever. If there were a group of Christians who thought they were right, who tried to vote and use their influence to simply dominate over everybody else that wouldn't be what Jesus had in mind. You have got to understand that this movement thrives when it is on the underside of power. This movement, we thrive when we are weak. Because then God can be strong.........."

Rob Bell- What Has Happened To Me, Mars Hill 2-9-2008

Rob Bell is talking from the perspective of Paul in this sermon. I thought that it was an interesting way of doing it. He doesn't tell you that is what he is doing, but just listening you just get it. This sermon just stuck with me, mainly because it was different but also because of the last five minutes or so. The whole thing is worth a listen to. I just transcribed a portion of the last five minutes. It is the part that really stuck out to me in my listening.

Well there goes the season. Once again neither of the SCF teams from last year make it out of the first round. I don't know who to root for now that Ducks are out. Maybe Philly or Montreal. Definitely not Detroit or Dallas or San Jose or really anyone in the west. Except maybe Colorado.

This leads to some questions:

Will Scott Niedermayer return for one more year?
Will Teemu retire?
Will they add some scorers? Cause if you haven't noticed they need some. The leading goal getter this year had 29. Granted he was hurt late in the season.
Do they lock up Hiller for a couple years? I hope so.
Was letting Penner go worth it? How about the Macdonald for Dougie Weight trade?
Will Parros come next season with a mullet?
That last one was to relieve the tension.

I mean seriously. Turco has repeatedly dislodged the net whenever he wants to usually when the Stars have a delayed penalty coming to them. He got a away with a bear hug on Perry last night. Repeatedly high sticks opponents. And then there is this which it totally illegal. I am just surprised with the way the calls have been going that Selanne didn't receive an interference penalty on this one.

Did anyone see the Rockies and Padres game last night. I didn't but watching Baseball Tonight on ESPN they kept having updates on the game. The last update they had was at about 10 o'clock and it was scoreless going into the 11th. Little did anyone know that it was gonna go 22 yeah thats right TWENTY TWO innings with a final score of 2-1 in favor of Colorado. To top it all off the winning run was unearned.

I am tired of seeing different agencies taking away our freedoms. This has been an issue with me for a while. I decided to write about it when I read an article from the Associated Press about airports using full body scanners. Here is an excerpt from the article.

" NEW YORK (AP) ― Airports in New York and Los Angeles are the latest to use body scanners that allow security screeners to peer beneath a passenger's clothing to detect concealed weapons."

I am sorry but that seems to me to be an invasion of my privacy. It just seems to be getting worse and worse. I am openly and intensely against The Patriot Act. Which takes away several of our Freedoms. They try to justify it saying that they are trying to get terrorists. Any person who agrees with or is in favor of the Patriot Act needs to be reminded of something on of our Founding Fathers said.

Speaking of the Founding Fathers, I think that they would be turning over in their graves if they could see what their dreams and blood led to. The government they created knew its limits. They had just got out from under the thumb of the oppressive British Rule. Now we are letting that happen again and people are stupid enough to let that happen. I mean it is just ridiculous how stupid Americans are to let their government do this. Any candidate who is elected in November will only make it worse.

It is also ridiculous on all the taxes that they are trying to pass. It will be worse if your Democratic Candidate wins. I know in California they want to add a nine cent tax for every gallon of gas you buy. Because we aren't paying enough already. They want to tax your grocery bag. But wait they will sell you a reusable bag for ten bucks. Give me a break. They want to add a tax to your electronic purchases through itunes and other sources. Do they really think that this will help our struggling economy. To take more of our money. The cost of living keeps increasing, the wages stay the same, and taxes are increased. HUH? Doesn't make sense. Then they go and blame the war solely for the economy. While the war was a bad idea and has turned out terribly there are much more reasons for the bad economy.

We need a return to a limited government. It is funny when I hear people comparing Obama to JFK. I'm sorry but didn't JFK say: "And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." Not What kind of government program can we launch so you don't have to get off your lazy ass to live. It is amazing how much things have changed. If it were today JFK would be considered a "Conservative." Sad huh? In todays world true conservatives get pushed to the side because the world does not want them. There are few of us left. If you think you are a true conservative take this test:

Do you agree with the direction of the Bush administration?

If you said yes then you are not a true conservative.

I am also tired of when certain groups don't like something they go and want a "Constitutional Amendment." Again Give Me A Break. I love it especially when I hear "the government is trying to have more control of our lives so lets have a constitutional amendment to _______." Christian groups are especially bad at this. They think that everything they don't agree with should be illegal. Abortion while I don't agree with it, the Federal government should have no say in whether or not it is allowed. I believe the same with Most of the issues that the Evangelicals have.

It is funny I began writing this post because of body scanners and it just took off. Let me leave you with something you have probably read recently.

This Documentary looks good as well. Plus it has Ben Stein. It is called "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed."

You know what that means. Weigh in day. I started out two weeks ago in a quest to lose weight along with some other people. You can go to Steve's Blog to track the progress. He has a fancy chart. Well last week I lost 2 pounds moving me from 220 to 218. Well this week I am glad to say I improved on that number losing 3 pounds. So now I am at a weight of 215.

So this starts Friday when I found an almost closed auction on Ebay. I saw that it had 6 minutes left and noone had bid on it yet. It was Angels tickets for Wednesday April 9th game. Opening bid was 99 cents so I put a dollar in my max bid. Six agonizing, painfully intense minutes go by. I won at 99 cents. Four dollars for shipping. The tickets should be here by Tuesday, plenty of time to get to the game on time. Tuesday comes along. No tickets. Gasp. I e-mailed the seller and he tells me he has the option of "e-mailing me replacement tickets." So I say ok lets do that. Sleep time. Wake up. Seller has e-mailed me. "Tracking number says they were delivered yesterday." Uh oh the mail person delivered to the wrong address. (assuming). So I e-mail seller saying they were delivered to wrong address. He says ok will send tickets. It is 10:30 with a 12:35 game time. So I see if Nick wanted to go. He did and I am still waiting for tickets. sweat, sweat. 11:30 comes around, Nick suggests that I pick him up and maybe the tickets will be there when I get back. I do, then stop to get gas. I get back. Seller has e-mailed, but no tickets. "Trying to get a hold of my account rep. to leave tickets at will call." More pain and agonizing. 12:00: "Tickets will be at will call I will email you to confirm when they get a hold of me." Game starts in 35 minutes. 12:12: "Tickets will be at will call under you name." Rush to my room because I wasn't proactive in getting ready. Had to get socks, shoes, and the all important Angels Jersey. Get in my "Big Green Machine" start heading to the stadium. Knucklehead drivers out today. Get to the Stadium. Pay for parking. Game has started by now. Had to park in the furthest possible place. No exaggeration. Walk 15 miles to the front of the stadium to go to will call. Finally get my tickets. HALLELUJAH!!! Stopped to get something to eat on the way to seats because Cleveland was batting and I was hungry. I walked all the way up the ramps. So I got a hot dog (theoretically), nachos, and a beverage. Lets just say I haven't had a soda since Friday. Get to our seats. Angels have the bases loaded and Napoli is up. Ball, Monster Grand Slam to left. (I did not spill my beverage on the poor unsuspecting people in front of me like Ryan and I were the victims of on Sunday). 4-0 Angels. End Game, Angels win 9-5 hooray. Walk the 25 miles back to the Machine after the ramps again. Sit in parking lot for 30 minutes get out and the only way I can go is towards the "Ponda"(Pond+Honda Center= Ponda). Make U-turn. I think I will be able to get back on 5 easier from Ball st. WRONG! Take Ball all the way home. Takes an hour. Get home, and tell people about the Monster Homer Vladdy hit. O I forgot listened to Dave Demeshek on the way home dud is an idiot but had good point today. Wanted one person to call and tell him why he should watch womens besketball over anything else. No one could. Ok back to being home. Turn on some playoff hockey. Pittsburgh and Ottawa. Pittsburgh up 4-0 turns into a slug fest. Start watching San Jose lose (knock on wood). Still going on Calgary up 3-1 with 6 minutes left. It would be great to see The Sharks lose in the first round.
New Paragraph. The Ducks start their quest to their second Stanley Cup tomorrow and I am excited. Well as you can see it was quite a day.

Front and center Parros roughing someone up. Hope he gets to play a little more than last year. Even if he doesn't at least if the Ducks take it all again he will get his name on the Cup. Cause last year he didn't.

Well Joe Saunders pitched a heck of a game. The Angels couldn't score for beans. They somehow managed to scratch out two runs to put them up by one going into the ninth. Frankie comes in and gives up 3 runs. I was disgusted and was wanting to watch America's Port which was coming on in a few minutes.

I missed the best part of the game. Bottom ninth Mathews walks, Vlad singles, GA walks. Guess what Hunter did. You guess yet? Well he hit a WALK-OFF GRANDSLAM!

All I have to say is oops.

That means it is weight posting day. Well I have to say. Somehow when I went to weigh myself this morning the scale said 218. I was like "huh?" I weighed myself at 225 last Monday. So I don't know. I have cut down on the Fast Food. I haven't had a soda since Friday, and before that Tuesday or Wednesday. Well here goes then.

A bulletin from the ILWU. It is never good to see someone killed on the job. It just goes to show that Longshoremen have one of the most dangerous jobs.

LONGSHORE WORKER KILLED AT PORT OF LONG
BEACH PORT; TERMINAL OPERATIONS HALTED

(LONG BEACH, CA) Cargo handling at one of the terminals at America's second busiest port
ground to a halt on Friday following the dockside death of Carlos Rivera, 73, a longshore worker
with more than 40 years experience on the waterfront.
“Longshore work is dangerous, but it doesn’t have to be deadly,”said Joseph Cortez, Local 13
President of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) that represents over
15,000 longshore workers at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
More than a dozen longshore workers have been killed on the west coast during the past six years.
This is the second fatality in Southern California since 2005.
“This tragedy affects the entire ILWU family,” said Cortez. “Carlos came in to the industry with
me.”
Rivera was working against a ship at the California United Terminal (CUT) at the Port of Long
Beach when he was struck and killed. Details on the cause of death are being investigated.
Union leaders met Friday with officials of the Pacific Maritime Association (PMA), the Port of
Long Beach, and California United Terminals (CUT). The union is seeking an immediate
investigation of the death and will halt cargo handling at the CUT facility in Long Beach for 24
hours.
The union is currently negotiating a new contract with the Pacific Maritime Association that
covers 25,000 longshore workers at 29 west coast ports in California, Oregon and Washington.
The union is seeking stronger safety provisions to curb more than one-dozen fatalities that have
occurred during the current contract which began on July 1, 2002 and expires this July 1.

Seinfeld unhurt after Hamptons car wreck

Jerry Seinfeld was in a harrowing rollover wreck but was unhurt after the brakes on one of his vintage cars failed.

Seinfeld was driving alone when the brakes on his 1967 Fiat BTM stopped working Saturday evening, East Hampton Town Police Chief Todd Sarris told the New York Post. Seinfeld tried the emergency brake, to no avail, and then swerved to keep the car from careening into an intersection, Sarris said.

The two-door sedan flipped over and came to a stop just yards from the highway, Sarris said, adding that the comic's maneuver "probably avoided a very serious accident."

The wreck was attributed to mechanical failure, and no summonses were issued, Sarris said. Seinfeld, 53, did not require medical attention and returned to his East Hampton home.

"He was a little shocked when he walked in and it started to dawn on him what happened," said his wife, Jessica.

The comedian took the crash in stride.

"Because I know there are kids out there, I want to make sure they all know that driving without braking is not something I recommend, unless you have professional clown training or a comedy background, as I do," Seinfeld said. "It is not something I plan to make a habit of."

The sitcom star, who co-wrote, co-produced and starred in last year's animated "Bee Movie," is an auto aficionado. He told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in November that his favorite car in his collection is a 1955 Porsche Spyder.

"It seems that NBC prez Ben Silverman is still invested in the series that put him in the map: The Peacock net has ordered an Office spinoff, set to premiere this winter in the 9:30 slot after the original series.

Mmmm...no wonder they didn't have room for Scrubs (which, by the way, is entirely MIA from NBC's new schedules for 2008-09). According to the Hollywood Reporter, the series would launch as an episode of the original U.S. Office, and then go out on its own.

We're working on answering these burning questions:

• Would any of The Office writers (Greg Daniels, Mike Schur, Paul Lieberstein) move over to the new series? • Would it be a Dunder-Mifflin branch elsewhere in the Rust Belt or maybe a whole new industry in a whole new place? • Would the new series poach any cast faves from The Office? (Keep your paws off Stanley!) • Who will be our new Pam and Jim? • Any chance this is too much of a good thing, like those hour-long installments of The Office earlier this year? Or is this another great element of Comedy Night Done Right?"

Why? This is the problem with TV today. Or more so Entertainment. They have a great Idea Then they decide that they are going to make more of something just to make money. I love "The Office- An American Workplace" just as much as "The Office." But if you take away any part of the ensemble then the rest just fall flat. And if they start a whole new industry or company can we take another Michael Scott or David Brent for that matter? Are we gonna have another Tim/Jim, Dawn/Pam type thing going on? What about Gareth or Dwight? It may be funny but the greed of these people. What ever happened to letting things end while they still have some dignity? I would have suggested that "The Office- AAW." should have ended after the third season. As much as I love it I don't want to get tired of it. They should have done three seasons and then like the original series have a Christmas Special or something to tie up the loose ends. That is why the British have much better television. They don't overkill. People start losing interest after the third season usually. And in some cases the writing loses some of the spark that helped a series become great. I see this happening with The Office. The storylines are starting to become strained. This is also happening in other series currently on. ER- How many times can your Emergency Room explode. Come on already end it, you have no dignity left. 24- I used to love watching 24 but the series is the same thing every season. Then there are shows killed before their time. Arrested Development is one that comes to mind. It had the opportunity to be brilliant for a couple more seasons. Firefly- Who knows how great this show could have been. I am not saying that I won't watch a spin-off of The Office, but I will be very skeptical of it.

So I saw that Steve set a challenge to lose some weight on his blog. Tyler and some other people joined in so I said Heck Why Not. I guess the thing is to post your weight every Monday and it is kinda an accountability thing.
So my weight right now is 225 lbs. I don't know what my goal is maybe sub 200. Actually that sounds good for starts.

Here is what you have all been waiting for. Remember this is this Tuesday April 1,2008.

We are meeting at mike and allison's at 7:15, instead of the usual 7:30, for the scavenger hunt.

There will be clues that utilize picture taking, so if you have a digital camera please bring it.

We will be dividing up into teams of 3-5 people, and can decide on those teams once everyone shows up.

Once the hunt begins, teams have one hour to complete as many tasks as possible.

Each task will have a point designation.

At the end of the hour, teams will reconvene at mike and allison's to add up completed tasks and points.

The team with the most points wins!

A New California Law??????????????

" Lawmakers have proposed an illegal new tax on digital products as their solution to California's $8 billion budget deficit. This new iTax would charge sales and use taxes on all digital products, like music and movie downloads on iTunes.

But, the Democrats know that they can never pass a tax increase with 2/3 vote in the Legislature. That's why they have proposed a sneaky, convoluted bill that avoids the 2/3 vote. AB 1956 would require California's tax board, my agency the Board of Equalization, to redefine California's tax code to include more products as taxable."

Now this is a terrible idea. Just because they are stupidly spending doesn't mean we should have to spend money on whole new taxes. It looks like they are gonna try to do this like they fooled people into voting for the phone tax.

Here are some updates on various things:

Apparently AD Movie is being held up by a single cast member holdout. They won't say who it is, but we do know who it is not so far. Jason Bateman, Jeffrey Tambor, Michael Cera, David Cross. That leaves a lot of people to choose from.
Also Arrested Development is now on Itunes. All three seasons now on Itunes.
Also AD is on HULU.COM. Just in case you want to watch for free and not support AD.
I just tried to guilt people into buying AD.
Apparently The Office will be back on April 10th. Not April 3rd like everyone thought.
You mean I have to wait another week.

X-Files Movie is tapped to be released in late July. A new one that is. They brought everyone back for a second movie.
I am going back to The Office. Don't you just feel bad for Toby sometimes.

Oh I think everybody needs to check out the show Airline. It is on the Bio channel everyday at 1pm pacific or 4pm eastern. They follow around Southwest Airlines and all the knucklehead passengers.

I wish that MLB would get a channel like the NFL and NHL have. Cause then I wouldn't have to watch the Eastern Sports Propaganda Network. Except for the sporting Events.

10. Trust me, they're not really working anyway. I'm not kidding. I used to be in an office environment, and boss, you would be amazed at how many different ways your employees find to not work. I used to actually do things that were less pleasant than work, just to honor the principle. I'm not even sure what that principle was, but I felt strongly about it. I worked very hard to not have to do any real work.

9. In the long run, you'll actually get more productivity. If you block access to the online feed, your employees are going to hate you. You think Robert over in human resources is going to bust his ass for you after you've just denied him one of the few things that brings him joy in this life? He's not. And that hate's going to last a long time, and the longer it lasts, the less productivity you get from Robert. Make Robert happy, and then Robert will make you happy.

8. It's either that, or they'll be refreshing this scoreboard every 10 seconds. One way or another, they're going to follow the game. You can make it easy on them, or you can contribute to their early development of carpal tunnel syndrome caused by repetitive clicking. It's up to you.

7. Ask yourself two questions: What would Michael Scott do, and what would Bill Lumbergh do? And then decide which of those two you'd rather be. Michael used to gather his employees to watch Varsity Blues on Monday. Lumbergh made Peter come in on a Saturday. And even with the harsh realities facing the paper industry, I still bet that Dunder Mifflin is doing better than Initech. Unfortunately, I don't have the numbers to back that up.

It will foster a sense of camaraderie among your employees, which will facilitate a paradigm shift throughout the office to a more broad-based, results-driven, consumer-focused atmosphere that builds company synergy and gives your employees the freedom to embrace emerging technologies and think outside the box. That means absolutely nothing to me, but you people seem to like that kind of talk, so I hope you found some meaning in there and it somehow swayed you.

5. You've wasted time on less productive things. Basically, I'm talking about every meeting you've ever had. So much of what you make your employees do is utterly pointless. Why not, for one afternoon, be honest with yourself and your employees about wasting time? You might find it refreshing.

4. There's a huge chain e-mail going around right now that encourages all employees who are denied access to March Madness to make Monday, "National Office Supply Theft Day."* Is it worth it? Giving your employees a couple hours to enjoy themselves vs. losing 75% of your binder clips and a couple of laser printers on Monday? Do a cost-analysis on that one, boss.

3. You are threatening the existence of the species. What am I talking about? I'm talking about swarms of men who would rather lose their reproductive ability than not be able to watch the opening Thursday and Friday of the tournament. A generation of men, without the ability to procreate. Thanks a lot, boss! This is the very survival of the species that we're talking about. You want that on your conscience? You want to risk that? Go rent Children of Men sometime, buddy, and tell me how pleasant that world looks. It will be all your fault, and I don't think Clive Owen's got it in him to bail us out of that mess again.

1. You're really kind of an ass if you don't. I'm sorry to put it so bluntly, but that's the way it is. Do you really want to be the hard-ass boss that everyone hates? Two afternoons where a few employees use up some bandwidth so they're not miserable people who hate waking up every morning. That's it. Do the right thing.

So for the past couple of days when I went to play a movie I had rented on my AppleTV it kept saying I was not authorized to play it. So every time I turned it on I just clicked it to see if it would play this time. So last night I was going to watch a new pilot I had gotten for free on itunes "New Amsterdam"(great show). Well I went to do my click to get the error on my movie. It was 11:45 at night. Well you wouldn't believe it but it worked. I was like now I got to watch it now. Because you have 24 hours after starting the movie to complete. You can watch it as many times in that 24 hours but after that it disappears. So I started watching the movie. It was "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford." I had heard mixed reviews about this movie, but I had always wanted to see it. It was an awesome movie I seriously think that it may be one of the best movies I have seen. It was about 2 and a half hours long but it did not feel like it. The acting was great, the writing was great. It is rated "R" but that is only because of the violence. A lot of people get shot. I will post the trailer below.

Ok so down at the casual hall it has been stuck in the letter S for a week and a half. and was in Q for the week prior to that. So i am hoping to work soon but who knows it could be another week or two. You know sometimes I like to just ramble on. If you can tell by the header which by the way is lame. And i don't really have the skills to make a cool one. Well just watching Seinfeld now it is on MY13. But it is over now. So I might watch The Simpsons. Oh So I recently got an AppleTV. And I love it. It is so cool. I can watch all of my tv shows and movies and stuff from itunes. and if I buy something on the ATV then it automatically copies into itunes. well so long.

You know when you are looking for something and don't find it but you find something else that is even better. Well a few minutes ago I was trying to get to the PMA site to check the dispatch summary for tomorrow. Well it was down and I couldn't get there. So I googled it thinking I could get around it somehow, and I found this it is a bulletin released back in 2002 about the ILWU work slowdown. I guess it was written to upset people and turn them against the union. But starting on page two it starts to list events that are suggesting a slowdown. and I found this list funny. Here is a portion of the list.

In Portland, ILWU members refused working a grain ship, alleging a safety
concern because a U.S. Customs official, carrying a weapon, was on board inspecting
cargo.

In Los Angeles, the Union failed to dispatch adequate numbers of workers to
terminals, while in Oakland, one crane driver moved three containers per hour when the
three-year average for the vessel being worked is 30.

At the Matson terminal in Oakland today, one crane was moving 12 containers
per hour, despite averaging 30 per hour over the past three years. That ship missed its
sail schedule by at least one day.

The cargo ship, Hyundai Emperor, docked in the Port of Portland, experienced an
average of 5 container moves per hour this morning against an average of 21.68 moves
per hour. During the evening shift, this ship experienced 11.1 moves per hour.

In Tacoma, an Evergreen ship being worked at the MTC terminal is experiencing
10-12 container moves per hour against an average of 32. A K-Line vessel was
producing 11.4 container moves per hour against an average of 26.35. Maersk operations
in Tacoma were operating at 50 percent of normal today. The ILWU failed to dispatch
any labor to unload the ship during the midnight shift.

In Los Angeles/Long Beach, the Union refused to work extended shifts, violating
its ongoing agreement with PMA. In addition, the ILWU also failed to post clerk
positions in the casual hiring hall, thereby violating an arbitration award.

At the Hanjin terminal in Southern California, ILWU clerks stopped working,
alleging that a gear certification on a piece of equipment had expired, even though a 90-
day extension of that certificate was in place. The clerks then alleged erroneously that
the signatures on the extension were forged.

The whole thing after that was just great. PMA sounded like a bunch of whiners not getting their way.

I keep finding stuff that I think is funny. Last night I was watching the WEST WING. It was the episode HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABBY. There is a huge birthday party for The first Lady. The secret service wouldn't let Donna in. Later Josh finds out why and tells her. Then ABBY, CJ, Donna, and Amy go to get drunk. Donna mentions that they changed the border and the town she was born in was now in Canada. Later back at the party Abby says she has a surprise later for Donna. This is the surprise. I fell off the couch when the President came in.

A New Toy That I Want...............

Forget about the iphone(for now, I still want that). There is a new toy that I want. Last year you may remember that Apple released a heating pad called Apple TV. It stored about 40 GB of stuff and heated up your leftovers. Well Apple recently released the second generation of Apple Tv calling it Apple TV take 2. Creative title. It now holds 160GB of stuff and you can watch all of you itunes movies, tv shows, music videos, music, podcasts, and now even rent movies to watch on it. And here is the kicker it only costs about what an ipod costs. You can buy or rent directly from the Apple tv and it will automatically add to your computer library. Except for the rented ones which Apple only lets you watch once. That should be fixed. While I still am not a fan of the Mac Computers, I love all of the Apple gadgets. I can't wait until I am able to get one of these things.

Exclusive! Jason Bateman Confirms Arrested Development Movie Talks

This just might be the best news we Arrested fans have heard in a very long time.

Jason Bateman has just confirmed to me that the creative minds behind Arrested Development (Mitch Hurwitz and Ron Howard) have put the wheels in motion toward a major motion picture of the Fox TV comedy so many of us adore. I'm told by insiders that Jason and other Bluth family members have received calls from producers (Hurwitz and Howard) asking if they would be willing to shoot a movie.

"I can confirm that a round of sniffing has started," Bateman says. "Any talk is targeting a poststrike situation, of course. I think, as always, that it's a question of whether the people with the money are willing to give our leader, Mitch Hurwitz, what he deserves for his participation. And I can speak for the cast when I say our fingers are crossed."

Jeffrey Tambor also revealed on XM Radio's the Ron and Fez Show that he has been approached by Ron Howard to see if he's willing to do an Arrested film. (You can hear that interview below.)

For the record, both Jason and Jeffrey's answers were: Hells yeah. And I hear from other sources that other castmembers were called and that everyone seems to be very much on board and excited by the prospect.

Insiders also tell me that while creator Mitch Hurwitz does not yet have a script, he has a good, solid understanding of what he'd like to do for the movie, and Universal is very much interested.

And so it seems that a few good—wait, no, outrageously amazing—things just might come out of this unfortunate writers' strike, as the creative minds in this town have had time to pause, regroup and think about their dream projects.

And an Arrested movie is a pretty great dream, is it not?

Kinda like the believe-o-meter. and they have true, mostly true, half true, barely true, false, and pants on fire(that is for the completely false you didn't even think before you spoke kinda false). Oh I forgot to mention that the site compares all the candidates and how truthful their statements are. During a campaign stop in Iowa on July 4, the six-term senator declared, “This guy is brain-dead.”

It’s an extreme charge, since brain death is defined as “irreversible unconciousness with complete loss of brain function” (Encyclopedia of Death and Dying).

Needless to say, we find the charge ridiculous. There’s no evidence Biden performed the necessary medical tests to make such a diagnosis. We would have accepted the results of a cerebral blood flow study or proof that Biden had examined Bush to see if he had an oculocephalic reflex.

Indeed, even people who disagree with the president about Iraq and assorted other issues will acknowledge that the president has spontaneous respiration and is responding to stimuli.

Well with the Writers Strike going on I have been forced to try new things. So here is a list of the television series I have checked out to see if any are worth watching. I am just going to list them as I think of them so there really is no order of favorite to least favorite.

1. "Firefly". SCIFI/WESTERN. Great show with great writing. If there ever was a show that was cut short this is it. Lasted 14 episodes and of those only 11 were aired. I would highly recommend to anyone who likes to watch tv.

2. "The West Wing". DRAMA. Well after watching Studio 60 last year and liking it. I decided to check out Sorkin's earlier work. It is a great show I watched the first two seasons in almost one sitting. I am excited to watch this show every time I get a chance. Also recommended to all television fans.

3. "Six Feet Under". DRAMEDY? Well this show is a really dark show. But it is written extremely well. But I can only take so much of it at a time. So I would recommend to check out but this show is not for everyone.

4. "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" SCIFI. I liked Firefly so much that I wanted to check out Joss Whedon's earlier work.(Created FIREFLY). But this was just hard to take the acting was horrendous. It was so bad I couldn't make it out of the pilot episode. I couldn't tell about the writing but I will give Whedon the benefit of the doubt. I would not recommend.

5. "LOST". DRAMA? I watched the pilot of this show and just loved it. The story telling in it was just fascinating. I am waiting for it to come up on my netflix so I can watch more of it. I would definitely recommend the Pilot at least cause I have not seen anymore of it.

6. "Dexter". CRIME DRAMA? Well you see Dexter is a serial killer. But he is also a crime scene investigator. This show is well written and as I have only seen the pilot I would definitely check it out again. Also CBS is going to start airing the early seasons in Mid February. Recommend unless you are queasy because while they don't show all of the killing there is quite a bit of blood.

Well that is all I can think of at the moment. If I think of any later I might just add them. For now this list is complete.

I have never felt this enthused for any Presidential Candidate ever. Every time I listen and hear the message of Ron Paul I get excited for what could be. That is why I keep posting on the subject. Every win is a thrill for me personally and every time someone condemns the message I take it personally. Last quarter Ron Paul raised over $20 million and this last monday he raised over $1.85 million. So the supporters are out there but we need your support as well. Help spread the message of Ron Paul.

What Are They Afraid Of..........

ABC News' Z. Byron Wolf: Not too many people paid too much attention to the Louisiana Caucus on Wednesday. John McCain won and Ron Paul logged his second second place finish of the primarycaucus season after his showing at the Nevada caucus last Saturday.

For Paul, R-Tex., Louisiana is really more of a third place finish since finishing ahead of the winner, John McCain, was "uncommitted pro-life."

But the Paul campaign says they got second place and maybe should have gotten first.

In a statement this afternoon, they allege that Paul supporters were forced to file provisional ballots even when they were pre-registered as delegates for Paul and they accuse the Louisiana Republican party of changing the rules at the last minute.

Paul campaign statement:

The failure of the Louisiana GOP to properly determine who was and wasn't eligible to vote threw this entire process into disarray," said Ron Paul campaign manager Lew Moore. "The party needs to correct this mistake by counting all the votes immediately, and releasing the results."

Due to mistakes by the Louisiana GOP, hundreds of voters were forced to file provisional ballots, including nearly 500 that could change the outcome of the election. According to party officials, caucus locations relied on a voter list from November 1, 2007 despite the fact that under caucus rules, voters must have registered Republican by November 30, 2007.

In multiple instances, state-certified Ron Paul delegates that were on the ballot were forced to file a provisional ballot despite the fact they were pre-approved as delegates.

The Louisiana State GOP also changed the rules at the last minute to allow other candidates to file more delegates. At the time of the original January 10 deadline, Ron Paul had the largest number of delegates pledged to him. The party then changed the rules to give other candidates until January 12 to file more delegates.

It's a confusing process in Louisiana and a trip to the Louisiana Republican Party does not clear things up. They don't even assign numerical totals to show how big the gap between places one and two and three were. In fact, at the website, a statement from party chairman Roger Villere Jr. only says Paul "appear to have captured the next highest number of delegate positions."

But Villere did praise Paul's supporters for having dash.

"I applaud the supporters of Congressman Paul for their enthusiasm and superior organizational ability. Our Party needs the infusion of new activists who have both political skill and a passion for protecting the freedoms guaranteed to us by the Constitution," he said. "I left the caucus with a renewed commitment to promote our core Republican principles of limited government and individual freedom, thanks to the zeal displayed by Congressman Paul's Louisiana supporters," Villere says on the website.

According to the website, more than 10,000 Louisana Republicans met yesterday to elect delegates to their state convention. Those delegates, led by those currently lobbying for uncommitted, will ultimately award delegates to candidates for the Republican National Convention.

ABC News tried to speak to an official representative of the Louisiana Republican party, but the phone number listed on the website http://www.lagop.com rings busy.

It is ridiculous how the media and Republican party are so afraid of Dr. Paul. It seems like they are afraid of someone coming and undoing the many wrongs of their wonderboy Bush.

Last night on The Colbert Report.

Stephen Colbert is a great entertainer, but the reason he has resonated so strongly with audiences particularly during this administration is because he has a core of earnestness that deeply reflects a strong moral sense and a desire to educate, illuminate, and do good works. If you think I'm being overblown, all you need to do is watch last night's episode of The Colbert Report, which was uniquely inspiring, edifying and touching — all while still managing to be completely hilarious.

It was an amazing television moment. After paying his respects to Monday's debate and busting out a pretty darn good Tom Cruise imitation, Colbert made a segue which, in retrospect, was brilliant: Moving from Clinton and Obama's bickering over who loved Reagan more to the evidence provided by Tom Brokaw's book, Boom! Voices of the Sixties, which, in addition to quoting Hillary Clinton discussing how Ronald Reagan finessed the balance of his role "beautifully" on page 404, contains an early segment devoted to the Reverend Andrew Young, the "last surviving member of Martin Luther King's inner circle at the Southern Christian Leadership Council," and lifelong, steadfast civil rights activist. Colbert got to that — eventually — after first introducing a documentary-style segment (in the style of Brokaw's "1968" documentary, complete with soundtrack) about the Charleston Hospital workers union strike of 1969, which was settled by the young, er, Young, who negotiated with a vice president of the associated Medical University of South Carolina — "the only administrator willing to meet with Young was the newly-appointed vice-president of the medical college, who had taken up the position just days before the strike was called." The two worked behind the scenes to finally end the strike — and on the hundredth day, they came to an agreement, awarding raises to the striking workers.

That administrator? James Colbert — Stephen's father.

Colbert doesn't say so in the episode, but his personal history is a matter of public record, and the story of his father is a sad one: In 1974, when Colbert was ten years old, his father and two of his brothers were killed in a plane crash. As if this wasn't moving enough, Colbert then brings out (or, runs triumphantly over to, as is his wont) Andrew Young himself, his guest on the program. It is pretty poignant even if you don't know the full story, hearing Young explain to Stephen how he worked with his father. More than that, Young tells Stephen — pretty seriously, it seems — that he is his "destiny" and that Stephen has the power to end the writer's strike. In a clip that the WGA should blast to every studio, network and media organization across the country (which we have below, of course), Young said the current striking writers weren't a whole lot different than the striking hospital workers in 1969, fighting to be paid the same wages as their white counterparts — in both cases, said Young, it was about a small amount, fair money for fair work, but more than that it was about respect. He called on Stephen to start the behind-the-scenes work to start settling the strike...just like his father. Even though Colbert is as jovial and joke-cracking as ever during this, it is hard not to respond to all of this — the historical and personal context, the moment of the meeting between Young and Colbert, the fact that Stephen was actually getting a mission from this giant of the civil rights movement and American history. Who turns down Obi Won Kenobe? Probably not Colbert, who has always had a thing for fantasy. Liken Young to Gandalf and it's pretty much a done deal.

You'd think that would be enough for one episode, right? Well, it wouldn't be Colbert if there wasn't a rousing musical finish (think: Guitarmageddon, writing the songs that make the whole world sing with Barry Manilow). This was accomplished with a rousing rendition of...well, watch it yourself. But it's amazing: Stephen, Andrew Young, Malcolm Gladwell, the Harlem Gospel Choir ...and Colbert's writers, who presumably had nothing to do with the creation of that episode. Which people like Jeff Zucker are probably pointing to as evidence that we don't really need writers, which of course makes perfect sense: All they need to do is find TV hosts with the wit and talent and heart of Colbert who happened to have had fathers who negotiated the end to a history-making strike with a giant of the civil rights movement. I know. Hollywood boulevard is crammed with 'em.

Sorry, Malcolm Gladwell, for mentioning you so late — I totally agree with you about that potato-knife thing. Nice haircut!

Selig's term extended through 2012

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Commissioner Bud Selig's contract has been extended by Major League Baseball's 30 owners for three years, taking him through the 2012 season.

The decision was made in an executive council meeting on Wednesday and was ratified by the collective owners on Thursday, making the new deal the biggest news of this year's first quarterly meetings.

Selig was asked to step out of Wednesday's executive council meeting as the select owners on that board voted to secure the new terms of his position. When the doors swung open and Selig returned to the room, he was awarded a loud standing ovation.

The owners endorsed Selig, who replaced the deposed Fay Vincent on an interim basis on Sept. 9, 1992, on the heels of the release last month of the Mitchell Report, the result of an investigation into the use of performance-enhancing drugs in baseball. At Tuesday's four-hour Congressional hearing on Capitol Hill, the Commissioner was commended by a number of elected officials for having the foresight to seek former U.S. Sen. George Mitchell to spearhead the investigation.

Selig, 73, just finished his 15th full season as Commissioner. As a business, the sport has never done better, setting records last season in gross revenue ($6.1 billion) and total attendance (79.5 million). Projections right now are for attendance to easily soar over the 80 million ticket mark in 2008.

Selig had said a few years ago that he would retire at the end of his current term, which was set to expire after the 2009 season. But last year he backed off that assessment a bit when asked about it, saying "you never say never about anything."

Similarly, in 2003 he also mused that he would probably retire at the end of his term, but on Aug. 17, 2004, the owners extended him through 2009.

Selig, who once owned the Milwaukee Brewers, was given the job as Commissioner permanently on July 7, 1998, and since then has presided over unparalleled labor peace and an economic sea change in a sport that was barely generating more than $1 billion a year in revenue at the time he took over as baseball's ninth Commissioner.

Under his watch, Selig fought for and won approval for Interleague Play, the consolidation of the American League and National League under one office, the three-division format and a Wild Card berth in each league, the unbalanced schedule, worldwide recognition of the sport, steroids testing of Major League players beginning in 2003 and home-field advantage in the World Series for the winning league in the All-Star Game.

For the third time, MLB is slated to open its regular season in Japan, with the A's set to match the defending World Series champion Red Sox in March at Tokyo Dome. Also in March, the Padres and Dodgers are projected to play exhibition games in Beijing, the first time Major League games will be played in China.

And in 2009, the second World Baseball Classic is scheduled to be played, capitalizing on its popular inaugural in 2006.

To be sure, it hasn't always been sugar and roses. Early on Selig's watch, MLB was fractured by the 1994 player strike that abruptly ended that season, led to the cancellation of the World Series and delayed the start of the 1995 season. But it was the last event of its kind.

In 2002, the owners and players avoided the ninth consecutive work stoppage over three decades when they signed a four-year Basic Agreement that distributed revenue more liberally from the big-revenue clubs to the smaller ones. Likewise in 2006, the two sides extended the agreement for six years, assuring labor peace through 2012, which coincidentally coincides with the expiration of the Commissioner's latest contract.

Just when we thought we were done with Selig he decides to continue for three more years. Good Grief

LONDON (AFP) - Twins who were separated at birth and adopted by different sets of parents later married each other without realizing they were brother and sister, a peer has told the House of Lords.

David Alton, an independent, pro-life member of the Lords, said the brother and sister were granted an annulment after a high court judge ruled that the marriage had never validly existed.

The identities of the twins and details of their relationship and marriage have been kept secret, but it was known they were separated soon after birth and never told they were twins.

They only discovered they were blood relatives after the wedding.

I read this story today and was thinking those poor people. That would just creep me out if that happened to me.

But How 'bout them Cowboys. Wait they Lost to my EAGLES. The game's final score was 10-6 but it wasn't even that close. The cowgirls QB Tony's a Romo couldn't complete a pass and he threw three interceptions. Meanwhile the eagles were able to drive up and down the field. The score would have been at least 16-6 but in a brilliant move Westbrook kneeled down at the one yard line instead of the wide open TD. preserving the Eagles win.

Ok so last week I decided that I was gonna watch "Firefly". Brent used to tell me how good it was and that I should watch it. I never really got around to it. This television season There is a new show that I can't miss. Chuck. In it is an actor Adam Baldwin. He is a great part of the show because he is always doing or saying something funny. Not knowing who he was but recognizing his face I had to look up what he has been in. He was in Firefly and the movie Serenity(based off firefly). So I decided to Netflix it. About a half hour into the pilot I was hooked. Now I have completed watching the first seven episodes and I can't wait until the next disc come from netflix. Then as I was reading up about it I realize that the show was canceled after 12 episodes. But 14 were produced so there are 14 to watch. And this show has gained huge numbers of fans since it was canceled. I was devastated because I love this show. They made the movie because of the support they got from the fans. I already hate FOX because the canceled my favorite show all time "ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT". Both of these shows were screwed by FOX. Because I didn't know about AD until it was in it's third season. And Firefly until Brent told me about it. It seems that Firefly had it worse though because FOX decided to not advertise the show and then show the episodes out of order so everybody was confused and wouldn't watch.

USC to Rose Bowl...........

USC in talks to move Trojans from Coliseum to Rose Bowl
November 28, 2007

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- USC is negotiating with Rose Bowl officials to begin playing Trojans home games in Pasadena next year, school administrators said Tuesday.

A potential lease agreement would be considered at the Dec. 6 meeting of the Rose Bowl Operating Committee, USC officials said in a written statement.

USC, which has played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum since 1923, would have to share the Rose Bowl with its football rival, UCLA, which already plays home games in Pasadena.

"Although we have been a faithful tenant of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for 80 years, we must now seek other alternatives for the good of our football program and our fans," USC administration chief Todd R. Dickey said.

USC has been seeking control of the venue and has offered more than $100 million over 10 years to fund its repair and restoration.

The Coliseum, which has been trying to sell itself as home turf for a potential Los Angeles-based NFL team, has rejected that offer.

The Los Angeles area hasn't had an NFL team since after the 1994 season when the Raiders returned to Oakland and the Anaheim-based Rams moved to St. Louis.

Los Angeles city leaders have said they want to build a new stadium within the historic venue's walls at a cost of $800 million.

The Los Angeles Coliseum Commission has offered the Trojans a two-year lease and was willing to offer a longer stay if the team asks for one, the stadium's general manager Pat Lynch told the Los Angeles Times.

But USC officials said they wanted an agreement that would include improvements to the facility and an operating lease.

Rose Bowl manager Darryl Dunn said the venue's staff would seek an arrangement with USC officials, as long as UCLA agreed to it.

"If it doesn't work for UCLA, it's not going to work for us," he said.

UCLA said in a statement it is willing to review such a proposal, but that protecting the integrity of the school's football program would be its top priority.

I read this and could not believe it. The Coliseum is as much a part of USC as it is LA. That is like The Red Sox leaving Fenway or Dodgers Leaving Dodger Stadium. I don't know that watching USC play in the Rose Bowl would be that appealing. What is next are the Angels gonna have to go and play at the ravine. Or the Ducks at the staples center. How bout the Yanks and Redsox share Fenway. And there is nothing that screams USC football like the Rose Bowl. You know the one on January 1st every year. It is after the Rose Parade. But not for every home game. The city of LA should think about what its citizens want. What we don't want is a NFL team here. Instead they are just thinking about themselves and money. And how are USC students and fans gonna like having to drive to the Rose Bowl several times a year. I think it is STUPID.

at my blank television screen wondering what might have been. If Feeley had checked down and not thrown the pass to the wide open defender. If the officials had reviewed a TD late in the first half when it looked like the receiver didn't have control. If the officials call a penalty right when the snapper clearly jumped before Cole came offsides on a 4th and 3. What if The Eagles actually beat the Patriots? Would there be a quarterback controversy? Would Mcnabb be happy about the win? Would Mikell or Considine have made any difference in the secondary? Should I be happy we almost won? Gave them a scare? Well I am not! I am upset because the Eagles had the game it was theirs to lose and they did. Who cares that the beat the spread. I just want to watch my football team win and if that means Feeley starts from now on so be it. I had a feeling that they were actually gonna beat New England. I like the feeling of winning or a chance to win which I don't feel with Mcnabb.

If you have been to anybodies blog who went to see Rob Bell last night you have read a post about his talk. Well I am not going to get into specifics about it, because I cannot do it justice. He is an amazing teacher. He talked for about an hour and a half but it felt like it was only a few minutes. He gave so much to think about my brain was about to explode. All last night and today I have been thinking that I want to sit and listen to the talk again. I hope that they have a dvd of the tour released like they did with "Everything is Spiritual".

L.A.'s unwritten rules of the road are keys to survival

"Newcomers to Los Angeles learn something real quick about the way things work here: There are the official Department of Motor Vehicles rules of the road and then there are the unofficial L.A. rules.

And if you want to survive these mean streets, you need to understand both.

One L.A. rule works like this: If you're waiting behind cars in a left-turn lane, never expect to go when the arrow turns green.

The first driver in line will almost always be distracted and fail to notice that the precious green arrow is lighted until the last few seconds before it again turns red.

Then the driver will punch the gas and get through the intersection - leaving the rest in line angrily muttering about dimwits until the next green arrow arrives.

Expect the cycle to repeat.

Here's another rule: When on the freeway in gridlock, don't expect drivers to use their blinkers to signal when they want to change lanes.

They'll just slide over in front of you without any advance warning.

Some of these lane-changers believe it's pointless to use blinkers because other motorists are so steamed about sitting in traffic that they won't let anyone get in front of them. So, it's just best to cut them off.

Even Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich has compiled a "how to" guide for driving in Los Angeles County.

It hit home when he read it last week to a crowd of business
people and other L.A. officials who had just made their way through maddening traffic to attend an 8 a.m. meeting in Burbank:

Morning rush hour is from 5 a.m. to noon. Evening rush hour is from noon to 7 p.m. Friday's rush hour starts Thursday morning.

The minimum acceptable speed on most freeways is 85 mph.

If you actually stop at a yellow light, you will be rear-ended, cussed out and possibly shot.

MapQuest does not work here. None of the roads are where they say they are, or go where they say they do. All of the freeway off- and on-ramps are moved each night.

If you are in the left lane and only driving 70 in a 55- to 65-mph zone, you are considered a road hazard and will be flipped-off accordingly. If you return the flip, you'll be shot.

Although all rules are subject to change, generally these are ideas to keep in mind when hitting the road in L.A. No doubt there are plenty more.

But there's no class motorists can attend to learn them. No handbook either. It's a roadside behavior that gets embedded in your psyche if you ever want to get anywhere in this jampacked city.

So if you have friends coming to town, please share these rules with them before they arrive.

That way they're already in-the-know about our rules.

I read it and thought that is exactly how I think while driving. This hit 100% right on. I don't know how many times Mapquest and similar services have gotten me lost.I finally had to resort to the Thomas Guide because that way it gave me a better way of getting unlost. The only part of this article I had any beef with is the rush hour times. 5 in the morning is not the start of the morning rush hour. I am always surprised at how busy the freeways are when I get off at 3 in the morning. I am going to make a statement saying that there is no rush hour. There are rush days! that applies to Monday Thru The Next Monday.

I did something I hadn't done in a while. I finished reading a book. No it wasn't Velvet Elvis I finished. (I finished that in July)(I started that in March). The amazing thing is I read this particular book in two days. It just sucked me in. You have probably hard of the television show or even the movie this was made into. It was called "MASH: A Novel Of Three Army Doctors." I love the television series I own the whole set. And the movie I thought was funny but never really got. Then I read this book. After I finished it I had to watch the movie again. (the movie is a lot closer to the book the the television show because that was developed out of the movie). The movie was a whole lot funnier after reading because they explain stuff in the book that they don't in the movie. And I felt like had an inside track to the movie. The book is an easy read, but is is not a young persons book. It isn't obscene it is just young people wouldn't necessarily get some of the things that are brought up. Next I think I am going to try to tackle "Rise To rebellion" by Jeff Shaara. I have started that book a couple of times but because I am not a diligent reader haven't gotten very far into it. As for "Velvet Elvis" it is written by Rob Bell, and if you haven't read it yet I would strongly recommend reading it. He brings up some really good discussion points. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

all day. Well most of the day. I also watched the USC destruction of Notre Dame. Back to the subject of the post. There is a scene from the show SCRUBS that I just can't get out of my head. It is a scene that shows the greatness and randomness of the show. It features Carla asking Turk if their son wanted to take dance while his friends play football. Turk then proceeds to start singing "Safety Dance". The song is from the early eighties by the band MEN WITHOUT HATS. It is the only song of theirs to catch hold here in the states. Also I found that the episode "My Bright Idea" features the song "All of the Words" by Kutless. (which happens to be one of my favorite bands). The scene is where Carla finds out that she is pregnant. To me I don't really get how the song fits in this scene, but who cares kutless made into primetime television. It rocks.

This was almost the most forgettable weekend ever. First USC loses to Stanford. Yeah you read that right. With John David Booty looking exactly like his name Booty. Then the Angels get swept in the first round of the playoffs. I hear people saying well at least it was a fun season. I say it was not a fun season. Who cares about the season. That does not matter. The only thing that matters is OCTOBER. And no matter how much we need it Stoneless is not gonna do anything this offseason to help us win. The only thing that saved this from being the worst weekend ever is the fact that the Eagles didn't lose. They couldn't because they had a bye. Oh the pains of being a sports fan.

Was the start of the new television season. I was excited for new episode of my favorite shows, such as Heroes, and The Office. There were numerous Pilots on this week as well. I think that there are three new shows that I will try to watch this season. Chuck the show about the nerd herd guy who has secrets in his brain. Journeyman, which was a little confusing but worth a second try. The best has to be the show "Life" on NBC. It was well written and looks like it could be around for a while. Now that I have said that. These shows don't have a chance. Here is a list of some of my favorites from last year(how many are still around). Knights of Prosperity, Studio 60 (started with promise but faded), The Black Donnelly's, Andy Barker P.I., Raines..... anyone see a pattern here. They were all cancelled. Then shows like 30 Rock, and a horrible 2nd season of "EARL" get to continue. And Now NBC won't let ITUNES sell their shows. It was one of the good things NBC had and now it is going away.

and I am still major upset about the Eagle game. These guys are a bunch of hacks. I mean come on 0-2 after playing the PACKERS AND REDSKINS. That should be two easy wins. So far this year Mcnabb stinks. I almost wished they would have put in Kolb tonight. How do you miss a wide open receiver in the red zone with the game on the line. It is not turning out to be a good season. But hey they were 1-5 at one point last season and they still won the east.

On a little better note. The Angels seem to be a lock for the playoffs this year even though they are scuffling right now. Their magic number is 5 after tonight

On a lot better note The Trojans Of Southern California destroyed Nebraska on Saturday. So maybe those loser down in LSU/SEC will shut up now.

I know that some of you may take it for granted. But this week will be the first week in about 2-3 years that i will be able to really sit in church. Without having to worry about being called to do something in the middle. I am excited about this. But I know people will still probably want me to help without realizing that I don't work there, but it will get easier overtime. The thing I am most excited over is that I don't have to be there til everything gets put away. I can go to lunch with my family or friends after church. If you haven't yet I would suggest watching the video in my previous post. It is the most powerful worship song I have ever heard. Everytime I hear it I have to stop and listen to it and the words. And even though it is repetitive everytime they sing fire fall down it gets more and more powerful.

Well today was my last day working for Parkcrest. And boy did I get the coldest sendoff ever. It was almost like they didn't care. While there was a few who said something for the most part it was like whatever. So now I am going to focus on longshoring for now. While it is a great opportunity. If you haven't noticed, I changed the look of my page. I was getting bored with the old look. Plus it looked like terrible. Hopefully I will be able to post more often in the coming up time. Also I added a poll to my page. And a fancy itunes thing which i thought played music but doesn't. But i added a music video bar Which at the moment has Nickelback videos. That will probably change.

Here are more pictures from my trip back east. These are pictures of my cousins who live there. I always have a ton of fun being able to play and hang with them. And the time always seems to too short. I can't wait until the next time i can go.

Saturday in New York

Last week while I was on vacation My dad, grandpa, and I went to New York and to the Yankee/ Angel game. We sat in the front row of the outfield bleachers. We were about 5 feet from the bullpen and monument park. It was fun being able to see the stadium before it goes away. and to see the angels win in extras.

Scranton

These are pictures from my trip. We had gone to the Baseball Hall of Fame. I forgot the camera there. On the way back to my grandparents place we had to drive through Scranton. Which is where the office takes place. We got a few pictures of stuff from the opening. We couldn't find the welcome to Scranton sign. And didn't have all day to look for it.

Tonights Angel Game

Was the most awesome game i have ever watched. Whoduthunk that a game between the ANGELS and Astros would be this intense. first off this past weekend both Kotchman and GA got hurt. so Hillenbrand started today and he has stunk it up this year. He went 3/5 tonight. But that was only the beginning. Lackey didn't have his good stuff tonight so he gave up a 4-1 lead by giving up 5 in the fifth. Carrasco dropped an out at the plate in the top of the seventh thus letting the astros get to 9-5. The bottom of the seventh the ANGELS just kept first to thirding it. And catcher Napoli beat out a critical double play. At the end of the inning the score was 9-9. Top of the ninth sheilds gives up a hit then a walk with an out in between. So the ANGELS brought in Frankie who walked the first batter to load the bases. The next batter hit a bullet that was snagged by Figgins (more about him in a minute). The next batter Biggio struck out on a nasty breaking pitch. Then comes the bottom of the inning. The first two batters get out weakly. Then Willits comes up and singles in the 5-6 hole. The next batter Figgins who was 5/5 from the left side. The Astros thought that they would turn him around. He hits a bullet down the right field line and Willits scores from first while Figgins gets a triple. So Figgins went six for six with a walkoff hit. Angel Stadium just went crazy cuz that was an amazing game it is almost an hour after and i am still hyped up about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
